Search MD named as woman of influence
Debbie Caswell, managing director of Search Consultancy in England, has been named among an elite group of women of influence in the North West.
The list, compiled by North West Business Insider magazine, seeks to recognise the diverse pool of female talent among the region’s business community.
Debbie has enjoyed a very successful 25-year career in recruitment. As MD of Search Consultancy in England, she is responsible for more than 420 recruitment professionals through a network of offices and leads her business with real passion, energy and dedication, which is rewarded through great loyalty and engagement from her employees.
Debbie said: “It was a lovely surprise to find my name included among so many other leading women from the region’s business community and I’m grateful for the recognition it brings to the business.”
The list of women from all areas of business – such as professional services, recruitment, marketing, media, charity and more – was whittled down from 350 to 113 names, using the views of the regional business community and Insider’s editor, Chris Maguire.
Chris Maguire said: "We had more than 350 names put forward for our annual Women 100 list, which highlights the 100 most important North West businesswoman and will appear in August's edition of the North West Business Insider magazine.
"When we looked down the names of people who didn't make the Women 100 list, we realised there were literally hundreds of women who were extremely influential in the region's business community and we decided we had to recognise their contribution. That's where the idea for the Women of Influence list came from."
