My Liverpool based client is looking to recruit a stock controller who will hold accountability for all in house and external stock, ensuring stock levels and assets are maintained. The client is a leader in their field and has recently been going through a period of expansion. The role is offered on a hybrid basis and offers an early finish on a Friday (Monday - Thursday 9 - 5:30pm, Friday 9 - 3pm).
The main responsibilities of the role include -
- Receipting of goods and creating a database of goods received notes
- Ensuring all incoming fleet stock is recorded into the accounting system daily, co-ordinating with the operations team to identify any damages or faults
- Stock room maintenance
- Oversee weekly stock checks
- Issuing stock from the main accounting system
- Ordering of consumables/ stock when forecast prompts
- Preparing and issuing stock
- Working with project co-ordinators to ensure jobs are fulfilled
- Assisting with month end reports
- Maintaining asset register and daily checks of equipment
